Where we are today
The foundation currently has no paid staff. We are seeking the initial operating support to launch a lean team. Compensation and hiring will require independent approval and available funding.
A proposed first year
Our initial planning target is $200,000 in operating support for a lean launch. This is a fundraising goal, not money raised or a board-approved spending commitment. The plan includes one leadership role, part-time project support, professional services and a cash reserve. Hiring and spending will follow funds available and board approval.
Support the whole foundation
Operating support sustains our work across Philosophy, Philanthropy, Technology and Exploration. It is explicitly separate from Project Fund gifts. Gifts do not provide ownership, a financial return or automatic board membership.
Earned income supports operations.
Our Technology department offers website creation for $499 and monthly website care for $149 to charities and humanitarian causes. Service fees cover delivery costs, with remaining unrestricted surplus supporting foundation operations. Service payments are separate from donations.

Accountability
Founding Partners will receive quarterly updates on cash received, spending, runway, project readiness and progress toward agreed goals. We will report challenges and changes alongside achievements.
