The Project Fund supports partner projects. The Operations Fund supports the people and systems that make our work possible.

Can I give monthly?
Yes. Choose either fund, select Monthly, and choose $25, $50, $100 or $250 USD. Your gift to the selected fund is charged now and automatically each month until canceled. There is no trial. Email dylan@rainesfoundation.org to request cancellation.
What does the 100% model mean?
Our model allocates 100% of each gross Project Fund gift to approved partner project delivery. The Operations Fund must cover payment and transfer fees, foundation salaries, fundraising and administration. Partner project budgets may include local delivery staff, training, maintenance and monitoring.
How are Project Fund gifts used?
Project Fund gifts are designated for approved partner project delivery in our five focus areas. Gifts can be held until suitable projects are approved. We have not yet announced approved partner projects or completed project outcomes.
Does a donation create a membership?
No. Monthly donations are separate from the $20 monthly Citizen Of Earth supporter membership. Project Fund donations support partner project delivery. Operations Fund donations and supporter memberships support foundation operations.
Are funds paid automatically to partners?
No. Gifts are administered by the foundation. Project grants require due diligence, approval and a written agreement. Fund designations are tracked in payment records; separate bank accounts and accounting reconciliation must be maintained by the foundation.
